You’ve Seen Her, or Have You?
Do you see her? She is the one working diligently behind the scenes. If you were to pull the curtain back, there she is. Like a dance she is always dodging the spotlight. Her goal is not to be seen but to help you shine. She has a servant’s heart. You have everything you need because of her. She leads well and leaves crumbs of kindness everywhere she goes.
After a crowded and fun homeschool lunch, you will find her breaking tables down and vacuuming the crumbs your little ones have left behind. Quietly and with a smile in her heart she is doing her dance, vacuuming one crumb at a time. Can you spot her in your day? She’s always been there, but you have been too distracted with your list of things to do to notice. The one who is faithful, consistent and never complains, that’s her. With her smile and great attitude, she makes your world a little easier. She does the hard things, the stuff you try to avoid, like cleaning the counter tops in the break room.
She gladly picks up your left-over trash and with great accuracy she lands it perfectly in the trashcan. More than often, she notices the half-emptied water jug and quickly replaces it. When everyone rushes out the door as soon as the work bell rings, there she is picking up paper and turning off the lights. She fills the breakroom with donuts and fresh coffee.
Can I Get a Volunteer?
There she is again, ready and willing to help with the morning nursery, clean the bathroom or even pick up morning coffee and bagels for her high maintenance boss. Again, all without any complaints. She whistles like the morning birds as she goes about her day dodging the spotlight and getting things done.
She fills the emptied coffee cups, sweeps the floor behind you and replaces the morning muffins. The computer is out of paper, no worries there she is, saving your day and reloading the paper. The breakroom is out of coffee creamer, oh no! No worries, there she is dashing off to the local store and grabs a brand-new bottle of vanilla creamer.
All Thanks to Her
